TAX INCENTIVES: The State of Illinois and the US Department of Labor offer hiring incentives in the form of tax credits for hiring from various targeted groups.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) – Offered through the US Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration, this federal incentive offers a tax credit for hiring from twelve targeted groups.  These groups have been identified as having significant barriers to employment.  A WOTC fact sheet can be obtained through your nearest BEST, Inc.
